WAVE SOLDERING
One of the advantages of wave soldering is gaining the ability to solder hundreds of through hole components at a time in a uniform and efficient way. During preheating, the printed circuit board with its components, is heated in order to raise the base metals to their proper soldering temperature. This decreases the stress on the board and components and reduces the amount of time that the heat and solder must be in contact with the board. Wave soldering ensures shorter cycle times and higher volume capability. High temperature solder is also available upon request.
